Anton Ziegon has successfully submitted and defended his M.Sc. thesis titled “Minimum entropy constraints for 3D structurally-coupled joint inversion of near-surface geophysical data acquired at the Rockeskyller Kopf, Germany” supervised by Marc Boxberg and Florian Wagner. Anton was part of the IDEA League Joint M.Sc. program from 2021 to 2023 and the first official GIM M.Sc. student. He implemented a new structurally-coupled joint inversion framework and successfully applied it to electrical resistivity, seismic refraction, and magnetic data. He received a top mark for his work and will receive his diploma during the graduation ceremony in Delft on August 25, 2023.

We are proud of our first official GIM graduate and wish Anton nothing but the best for his personal and certainly bright professional future!
